Q: Are you licensed?

A: Yes, all our DJ’s are licensed by the Audio Video Licensing Agency (AVLA) of Canada

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes, all our equipment is insured for damage / loss and we also have $2,000,000 third party liability coverage

Q: Are you willing to discuss musical selections ahead of time, and willing to play requests

A: Yes of course! It’s your event we would like to ensure we play exactly what you require. We highly recommend our clients to provide us a list of their favourite songs approximately one week before the event date and we make sure those songs are played. We also encourage you and your guests to make requests during the event!

Q: What if we want an unusual song that you don't have?

A: Our music database exceeds 200,000 tracks and we have almost anything mainstream from 1930’s to today’s high energy Top 40 hits. In the event we do not have a song you request then we will purchase it at no extra cost to you

Q: What about if we want some songs / artists to be avoided?

A: You can let us know if you have any songs that you would like us to avoid. We usually do not play ‘Shout’, ‘Bird Dance’ and ‘Macarena’ unless it’s requested

Q: Do you provide Master of Ceremony (MC) Services?

A: Our specialty is to provide professional Music DJ Services. Therefore we are happy to work with one of your friends or family member to MC our event. We also have several partner MC’s that we can recommend as well

Q: What volume do you play the music at?

A: You are in complete control of all aspects of the event, including the volume. So the music can be as soft or as loud as you require. Generally for the Cocktail hour and Dinner we try to ensure there is sufficient room for people to have a conversation and only play the music as loud enough to create a nice ambiance

Q: What about a contract?

A: We only confirm you booking once the contract is signed.  Our standard contract clearly highlights details about our service and obligations of both parties to ensure there is no mis understanding or ambiguity at a later date

Q: What is your policy on alcohol?

A: We have a strict policy that prohibits the use of alcohol or any other drug by any of our staff before and during any event

Q: What is the DJ Staff Dress Code?

A: All our DJ’s and support staff will be dressed in Black (Shirt & Pants). We will also be happy to come in full formal wear if that is a requirement.  Please inform the DJ about your specific requirements during the pre-event consultation

Q: How many breaks do you take?

A: We do not take any breaks during events. Unlike bands most DJ’s do not take breaks during events!

Q: What about Back-up systems?

A: We want to make sure we manage your event without any interruptions Therefore; we have ‘One to One’ back up for all critical equipment

Q: How early should we book our Wedding DJ?

A: It is recommended to book you DJ approximately 10-12 months before the event date.  This will allow you plenty of time to evaluate several DJ’s and select the best DJ that suites your requirements and budget
